Ho Chi Minh City receives 2,000 maritime tourists

Five-star cruise liner Costa Classica  
 
Nhan Dan – The Sai Gon Travel Service Company (Saigontourist) welcomed 2,000 passengers and crew members sailing aboard the five-star cruise liner Costa Classica, to Ho Chi Minh City on January 12.

The visitors, most from Italy, Spain, and the UK, are scheduled to embark on a six-day tour down the coast of Vietnam including Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Da Nang and Ha Long Bay, before returning to Hong Kong (China).

After docking at the Navi Oil port, the visitors will tour Ho Chi Minh City, discovering Cu Chi tunnel and enjoy a traditional cultural programme as well as shopping in Ben Thanh Market, then took a ferry to visit the Mekong Delta region.

The ship will then leave Ho Chi Minh City for the central city of Nha Trang and Da Nang on January 14 -15.

Over the next two days, the tourists will arrive at Ha Long Bay to discover the Bay’s beautiful landscape and visit Yen Tu village, Quang Ninh province.

The ship will conclude its tour of Vietnam following a visit to Ha Long Bay on January 17.
