Enterprises urged to promote sale on the domestic market

Nhan Dan Online - Local enterprises should promote their sale in the domestic market, especially rural areas, which account for 70% of good consumption, delegates to a seminar urged.

The seminar entitled "Promoting sale of Vietnamese goods on the domestic market" was held in Hanoi on January 7 to discuss measures to increase the competitiveness and control the domestic market for made-in-Vietnam products.

Enterprises must pay special attention to the domestic market, considering this a long-term strategy, not only the strategy in the current context of global economic crisis, said Mr Truong Dinh Tuyen, former Minister of Trade.

In order to control the domestic market, enterprises must continue to increase the quality of their products with their own identities regarding to after-sale services and promotion, and pay more attention to developing a suitable distribution network.

Vietnam is among the most attractive retail markets in the world with a total retail sale revenue growth of over 10% a year.
