Dan Online – 75 outstanding enterprises with active
contributions to building culture in business and to the
national socio-economic development will be awarded with
certificate called ‘Cultural Enterprise – UNESCO Vietnam’ at
the National Conference Centre in Hanoi tonight, according
to the organising board.
Each certificate is a reliable
proof for investors to appraise operational capacity of each
orgainisation/enterprise in building and publicising their
brand name and taking social responsibility and maintaining
the traditional cultural identity in a satisfactory manner.
| Researchers said that ‘enterprise culture’
referred to typical attitudes, beliefs, behaviour,
institutions, relating to each enterprise. |
Also in response to the
‘Cultural Diplomacy’ year launched by the Government and on
the occasion of the World Day for Culture Development (May
21), the dialogue programme ‘Vietnam Business Culture in
Globalisation’ was jointly organised by the UNESCO Centre
for Enterprise Culture and the Vietnam Youth Company in
Hanoi this morning.
The dialogue aims to give
important suggestions so that the Vietnamese enterprises can
discover proper business cultural characteristics.
According to Nguyen Xuan Thang,
Vice President and Secretary General of the Vietnam
Federation of UNESCO Association and former Vice President
of the World’s UNESCO Associations, culture (other than the
arts) is the objective, driving force and future strength of
each nation. Enterprise culture plays an important role in
improving each country’s competitive position and building a
national brand name.
Many of the enterprises
attending this dialogue said that the dialogue helped raise
their awareness of building and maintaining the Vietnamese
cultural identity in the field of business.
In their opinion, it is
necessary to learn progressive business culture from foreign
firms. However, they are well aware that the most effective
enterprise culture should be deeply rooted in the national
culture.
The dialogue programme had a
participation of former Party General Secretary Le Kha Pheu,
some researchers on enterprise culture and over 100
enterprises.
