Nhan Dan - The stock market saw an adjustment today after consecutive sessions of gains. However, liquidity on both bourses remained high.

The VN-Index ended its string of ten gaining sessions in a row with a slight drop of 0.59% or 3.06 points and closed at 508.47.

Trading volume, though lower than yesterday's, maintained at high level with nearly 31.6 million were traded via order matching for nearly VND 1.2 trillion.

Of the total 160 listed stocks, there were 49 gainers against 100 decliners and 11 others stayed still.

STB of Saigon Thuong Tin Joint Stock Commercial Bank continued to be the most traded stock today with over 7.1 million shares matched.

In the northern bourse, the HASTC-Index also experienced a drop after eight consecutive gaining sessions, closing at 156.78, down 1.71% or 2.73 points. Investors traded nearly 14 million shares listed on the bourse for a total VND 602 billion. There were 37 gainers, 105 losers and four others stayed unchanged.
