Nhan Dan - The Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) on December 22 signed 11 credit contracts worth totalling VND 3 trillion with timber and coffee exporters at a conference held in Binh Dinh.

The conference is aimed at assisting wood and coffee exporters from Binh Dinh, Gia Lai, Dak Lak and Lam Dong provinces.

Earlier, BIDV had signed a comprehensive co-operation agreement with Southern Food Corporation (Vinafood 2), pledging to provide credits worth VND 4-5.5 trillion to Vinafood 2 to buy 3.5 million tonnes of rice for exports.
