Nhan Dan/VNA-  US singer Peter Yarrow has concluded three concerts named “Peter Yarrow and the Heart of Vietnam” in Ho Chi Minh City, Hoi An and Hanoi in mid June to raise fund for Vietnamese A/O dioxin victims.

During a meeting on June 30, President of Vietnamese – American Association Dang Vu Minh expressed his thanks to singer Peter Yarrow and the delegation from the Fund for Reconciliation and Development who came to Vietnam to share their feeling with Vietnamese A/O victims and also bridge the friendship between the two peoples.

This is the third time Peter Yarrow has been in Vietnam.

During the singer’s two performances on June 25 and 29, individuals and organisations donated nearly VND 700 million, reported the organising board.

The Pacific Land company also presented US $10,000 and promised provide the same sum annually in the next four years.
