Nhan Dan – Duy Xuyen district People’s Committee of Quang Nam province has recently held a meeting to celebrate the 10^th anniversary of My Son sanctuary since its being recognised as the World Cultural Heritage.

The meeting was followed with art performances imbued with Champa culture  given by folk artists from Ninh Thuan province.

After 10 years of UNESCO recognition as the World Cultural Heritage, the local administration has pooled its efforts for the restoration and preservation of temples and towers. They have also set up various art and tourism programmes to attract more visitors. To date, around 200,000 tourists visit My Son sanctuary each year.
