The authorities of the central
province of Phu Yen was asked to bring two ancient stone
musical instruments to an exhibition of the world's rare stone
objects, to be held at the National Museum of Belgium.
The same invitation was also cabled from the authorities of
Chung Bur province of the Republic of Korea.
These stone musical instruments, discovered in Tuy An
district, are believed to date back to about the fifth century
BC. They are counted among Vietnam's national treasures. |
