Pop singer to release albums in Japan

Three albums by My Linh, a famous Vietnamese singer, will be released in Japan late this month.

Japanese M&I Record Firm will provide Made in Vietnam, Chat with Mozart and Let Love Sing to Pony Canyon CDs, a local distributor.

Details concerning the albums will be released at a press conference in Tokyo, one day before the September 19 released date.

The albums will be aired on one of the nation’s largest radio stations - Nagoya-based Radio-I, which has nominated Made in Vietnam as one of September’s best albums.

Chat with Mozart, released in Vietnam in 2005, includes classical music by Mozart, Bach, Schumann, Tchaikovsky, and Vivaldi with lyrics written by well-known Vietnamese songwriter Duong Thu.

Made in Vietnam issued in 2003 consists of 11 songs composed by musicians like Duong Thu, Huy Tuan and Bao Chan.

Let love sing released last year includes ten songs written by some of the aforementioned composers and other young musicians like Ho Hoai Anh.

The album will be distributed widely by Pony Canyon, which alongside Sony Music and Toshiba EMI is one of the three biggest music distributors in Japan.
