Nhan Dan Online- The annual Vietnam – China international trade and tourism fair will be held in Mong Cai city, Quang Ninh northern province from December 4 to 12.

The fair, the second of its kinds, is jointly held by the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Quang Ninh People’s Committee of Vietnam and the Guangxi administration of China.

According to Quang Ninh People’s Committee Deputy Chairwoman Nhu Thi Hong Lien the fair is expected to attract 400 stalls, 70% of which comes from Vietnamese businesses and the remainder is from Chinese and international businesses.

“This is the major opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to promote their branches, set up good consumption network in order to expand the domestic market and exports,” said Lien.

Entitled ‘Co-operation for development of trade-tourism, investment’, the fair will showcase socio-economic achievements of the host province and China, and spotlight products from local and foreign-invested businesses, including those operating in the fields of tourism, services and hotels.

There will be numerous sectors taking part in the fair, from fashion industry, household appliances, wooden furniture, agricultural products, food processing, machine, equipment to tourism services.

A seminar discussing measure to promote trade and tourism between the border provinces of Quang Ninh and Guangxi will also be held on the occasion.
