Exhibition on Japanese architecture opens in Hanoi

A photo exhibition introducing architectural works from Japan’s southern prefecture of Kumamoto opened in Hanoi on May 11.

With nearly 70 photos, the Kumamoto Artpolis Exhibition is expected to bring visitors an insight into architectural styles of Japan in general and Kumamoto in particular.

The works, which combine historical and natural characteristics, were built in the prefecture under the Kumamoto Artpolis project that began in 1988.

The exhibition, the first of its kind in the capital city, will run up until May 25. A similar show took place in Ho Chi Minh City from April 8-24. (VNA)
