The
exhibition “Naissance: gestures, objects and rituals" will
open the France Spring Festival.

Online- Nineteen events featuring exhibition, stage,
contemporary dance, circus, literature, fashion show and
concert will take place in the framework of a month-long
France Spring Festival from May 20 to June 18.
The festival,
organised by the French Cultural Centre, L’ Espace and the
Embassy of France in Vietnam, will see the performances of
more than 150 artists in 19 events which will introduce the
latest trends of the French culture.
The festival
will be opened with an exhibition entitled “Naissance:
gestures, objects and rituals", featuring the journey of the
return of spring in Vietnam, France, North and West Africa and
Reunion Island. The exhibition, which will run until August
17, is expected to bring a new aspiration for visitors.
A food
installation art exhibition and a concert will also be
organised on the festival’s opening at the same place.
A European
Fashion Gala on May 21 at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum will be
followed by an exhibition of fashion photos taken in Paris and
Milano two young photographers Miqua and Max Salvaggio from
France and Italy. The photo exhibition will be held from May
23 to June 18 at the L’ Espace centre.

The Baroc
dance performance by Getes Galantes.
A special
programme during the spring festival is the performance of
“three days- three dancers” of dance group +84 on May 27, 28
and 29. A free stage for the group will bring viewers a taste
of visual arts on stage.

House on June 11 troupe will also be one of the focus of the
festival
The spring
festival will also present a series of interesting film
programmes such as the “Spring Television” at L’Espace from
May 28 to 31 featuring films, scientific and education films,
films for children; cartoon films selected from the recent
Annecy Film Festival and short films from the Clermont-Ferrand
International Short Film Festival.

The music
programmes include a baroc and classical music concert with
performance of the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra on June 5 and 6;
a concert of Davide Mancini at L’Espace on June 13; and an
electronic music performance featuring Gong Gong & Co band
from Nantes on June 18 at Van Ho Exhibition Centre.
A circus play
by O ultimo Momento troupe on June 12 at Youth Theatre and a
play “Antigone Vietnam” to be performed by Monte-Charge
Theatre and Vietnamese National Tuong (classical opera)
Theatre on June 17 at the Vietnam’s theatre also include in
the spring festival.
