Vietnam to join Brest sea festival 2008

Nhan Dan – Vietnam is one of the two Asian countries to join the Brest Sea Festival 2008 scheduled to be held in Brest seaport, France from July 11-17.

This is the Europe’s biggest sea festival held once every four year, attracting around 30 countries.

According to head of the Vietnam delegation to the festival, deputy chairman of Haiphong People’s Committee Hoang Van Ke, Vietnamese artists, sailors and fishermen will restage Vietnamese sea villages with traditional sea vehicles, sea tourism and sea gastronomy, through this, will seek chances for co-operation with countries having developed sea economy.
