Nhan Dan Online-Hanoians
will have an opportunity to share in the very best of European
gastronomic culture at the 3rd annual European Food
Festival which will take place on May 24, from 5pm at the
National Library of Vietnam.
The festival will
offer something for the whole family with authentic European
food and drink from the capital’s leading hotels and
restaurants.
The event will also
feature live entertainment from two famous bands in Hanoi as
well as belly dancers and sports dancers, a fashion show from
Alcado, and an extra-special lucky draw with prizes including
hotel, resort, spa and restaurant vouchers, as well as an
international return trip courtesy of the National Flag
Carrier Vietnam Airlines.
“The Festival aims to
offer a taste of Europe to the people of Hanoi, bringing the
Vietnamese and European communities a night of food, drink and
entertainment”, EuroCham Hanoi Director Nicholas Greenfield
said in a press conference held in Hanoi today.
He also added that the
Festival aims to promote the diversity of Europe through a
showcase of its culinary arts, and to promote co-operation and
deepen understanding between the Vietnamese and European
communities.
