Another ancient bronze drum believed to belong to the Dong Son Culture some 2,000 years ago has been unearthed in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lac.

The drum was discovered by farmers in Hoa An commune in the Krong Pac district.

Its surface is 65.6 cm in diameter and it is decorated with a 12-point star in the middle and Lac bird (a Vietnamese legendary bird) figures.

This is the 10th ancient bronze drum found in the province. It is now being preserved at the provincial museum. (VNA)
