Film on Agent Orange in Vietnam competes at international festival

Nhan Dan- A film featuring Agent Orange/dioxin consequences in Vietnam by Sakata Masako and Bill Megalos from Japan will compete at the 26th International Environment Film Festival to be held in Paris, France from November 19 to 25.

The film which was produced in 2007 by Japanese film director  Sakata Masako and director Bill Megalos tells about the consequences of Agent Orange/dioxin.

With the title “Agent Orange: A Special requiem” , it is Masako’s investigation of the aftermath caused by Agent Orange/dioxin on people’s health and environment after the war in Vietnam as well as the US’ s indifference towards victims.

The film will compete in the documentary film category with French as the original language and English subtitle.

The film festival has the participation of 87 films from 37 countries and territories.
