The Hue ancient capital preservation centre is currently
carrying out a research to restore the Can Chanh Palace as
part of a cooperative project with the Japanese Waseda
University. The US $5 million project to research, train
and preserve the Hue ancient capital historical site, which
started in 2003, should be completed in five years.
Previously, the centre conducted research on the Heritage
House and restored the Long An Palace as part of the
project.
A research and training project on Hue royal music is
currently underway by the centre with aid, valued at US
$154,000, granted by the United Nations Educational,
Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO). (VNA) |
