The
model of Bao Son Paradise.
Nhan Dan- The
first phase of Bao Son Paradise, a modern cultural tourism
and entertainment park in Ha Tay province, will be completed
early next month.
This is part
of a project to build new urban area in An Khanh, Ha Tay.
This is considered one of the biggest cultural and tourism
parks of international standard in north Vietnam.
Seen as the
largest in Vietnam, the park has required total investment
capital of around US$55 million from Bao Son Tourism and
Construction Investment Joint Stock Co.
The park
includes 16 items and one of the main items is the Ocean
World where over 2,000 kinds of fishes from different
continents such as sharks, seal and dolphins and other rare
and precious sea creatures can be seen through a huge
aquarium.
One of the
most prominent features of the park is the 5,000
square-meter miniature of the ancient Hanoi City at the end
of the 19th century. In the town, some 20 houses with old
architectures are designed as shops selling traditional
products along the streets.
The focus of
the park is the water music stage with laser film and
dolphin and seal performance which can meet the demand of
7,000 audiences. The stage promises one of the venue of big
cultural events of Vietnam and the region.
A five
hectare royal park will also be built to revive the garden
of kings and queens in the past.
An orchid
house will display around 500 kinds of orchids of Vietnam
and of Southeast Asia. A butterfly garden and butterfly
museum will also a place to attract visitors.
In addition,
visitors will have a chance to visit another special place
stretching on 10,000 square meters where all aspects of 15
craft villages in Vietnam are featured.
All villages
are both decorated with cottages, banyan trees, water wells,
and temples but each one is characterized by a handicraft
style even in its garden or interior decoration.
Visitors will
find it interesting to see artisans working, and choose some
products, as well as take part in the production process.
All handicrafts there are popular in Vietnam, including Van
Phuc silk, Phu Lang pottery, gemstone pictures, jewellery,
and brocade.
With such
variety of items, it’s hoped that Bao Son Paradise will be a
destination of culture and entertainment of domestic and
international visitors. |
