Nhan Dan - Da Lat City in the central province of Lam Dong has officially been recognised as the city of flower festival according to an official dispatch No 2567/TTg-KGVX, signed by Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung on December 22.

The Government also asks the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee to closely co-operate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant agencies in organising Da Lat Flower Festival 2010, one of the national events celebrating the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.
