Beautiful girls at Chua Cau (Bridge Pagoda) in Hoi An.

Nhan Dan Online – After receiving a jubilant welcome at Da Nang Airport, 82 beautiful girls from all around the world gathered on Cua Dai beach, Hoi An city on June 25 for their only one day holiday during the Miss Universe 2008 event.

Looking like blossoming flowers they paraded their beauty and skills under the sun in a gentle sea breeze of Palm Garden Resort in Hoi An.

They joined activities on the beach and enjoy drawing up nets, sitting in coracles and flying kites. They took part in a bamboo pole dance as the cameras eagerly snapped a way.

In the evening, they strolled along Tran Phu Street to the Hoai River of Hoi An ancient town. They also awarded scholarship to poor and outstanding students of Hoi An.
