Rare Champa glassware unearthed

Several rare glass objects from the Champa culture have been discovered at an archaeological dig in Son Thuy commune, Le Thuy district in the central province of Quang Binh.

According to archaeologists from the Quang Binh General Museum, the artefacts are believed to be from between the ninth and tenth centuries.

The finds mark the first time Champa glass objects have been discovered. Previously, only stone and ceramic artefacts from the Champa culture had been unearthed. (VNA)
