Nhan Dan - The Ministry of Health has launched Action Month for Population and Family Panning from July 1 – 31 on the occasion of the World Population Day (July 11).

The aim of this action month is to improve the organisations' awareness and responsibility in implementation of the Party and Governmental policy on the population and family planning; encourage cadres who are doing population and family planning work; synchronously deploy all solutions to implement  the population and family planning work; implement the 'each family one or two children' policy; strive to reach 50 – 70 % of using contraceptives in 2008 at the end of the action month.
