Nhan Dan - The Prime Minister has asked the Finance Ministry to provide 23,090 tonnes of rice from the National Reserve for people in localities on the occasion of the Tet Canh Dan (the year of the Tiger) and the between- crop period.

The rice is to be sent to 9 provinces, in which, 3,500 tonnes are for Quang Nam, 2,000 tonnes for Quang Binh, 2,00 tonnes for Lao Cai, 2,500 tonnes for Thanh Hoa, 1,500 tonnes for Quang Tri, 7,020 tonnes for Phu Yen, 4,200 tonnes for Nghe An, 170 tonnes for Bac Kan and 2,000 tonnes for Quang Ngai.

The above Provincial People’s Committees should be responsible for managing and for delivering the rice in time and to the right needy people.
