Culling the infected buffalos and cows.

Nhan Dan – The foot and mouth disease has reoccurred in Thai Binh and Ninh Binh provinces, according to the Veterinary Department.

24 buffalos and cows in Nam Binh, Vu Cong and Vu Binh communes, Kien Xuong district, Thai Binh province and 25 cows and 7 buffalos in Yen Thanh and Yen Hoa communes, Yen Mo district, Ning Binh province were found having symptoms of the disease.

Urgent measures have been taken to stamp out the disease. And, the reason for the relapse of the disease is under investigation.

So far, six provinces nationwide including Nghe An, Yen Bai, Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Ninh Binh and Thai Binh are yet to be free from the disease for 21 days.
