Nhan Dan Online – The Vietnam
Airlines Corporation (Vietnam Airlines) has finalised every
procedure to carry out the second fight from Ho Chi Minh
City to Utapao airport this morning in order to transport
the Bangkok-stranded passengers.
The VN8513 flight took off at
2.30 am and landed in Utapao at 3.40 am. The VN8512 flight
left Utapao at 6 am and landed in Ho Chi Minh City at 7.10

Until 6 pm on December 1, there
had been 170 passengers booking seats on the flight VN8502
from Utapao to Ho Chi Minh City. 85 of them are Vietnamese
passengers, the remainder are foreigners.
Thai Airways asked Vietnam
Airlines to assist in transporting Thai Airways’ passengers
because current flights between Bangkok and Vietnam can not
be carried out.
Vietnam Airlines agreed to
transport Thai Airways’ 13 passengers from Utapao back to
Vietnam and 38 other passengers from Ho Chi Minh City to
Utapao.
Vietnam Airlines continues to
postpone regular flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to
Bangkok on December 2 – 3, after the authorities of
Suvarnabhumi airport informed that they would continue to
close this airport for two more days due to unsafe security
and insecure conditions of running this airport. |
