Nhan Dan – The Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee on August 1 launched the Traffic Safety Month for 2008.

The Fatherland Front considers traffic safety as a criterion for selection the role model title in the national emulation movement.

The specific tasks of the Traffic Safety Month include wearing helmets when riding motorbikes, not riding motorbikes after drinking wine and beer and stimulant, riding motorbikes on the stipulated lane of traffic, not driving too fast and overpassing carelessly, and opposing behaviours of violating all the regulations on traffic safety.
