The Hanoi People's Committee has signed a decision No4813/2006/QD-UB on exemption of bus ticket for war invalids, wounded soldiers and disabled people who are able to take bus and living in Hanoi.

Accordingly, these people will be given free bus ticket exemption cards which help them to take all bus routes. These people can register with wards and communes'  People's Committees or the disabled people and orphans support association for the cards. Later, the Service of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs certify and pass to the urban transport management centre for making the cards. Hanoi has now about 23,000 disabled people and thousands of war invalids and wounded soldiers.
