Nhan Dan - As many as 598,134 out of 916,405 registered examinees were present on July 3 at 974 examination organisation sites to complete their procedures before their university entrance exams to take today.

The figure is equal to 65.27% of the total registered number.

In the north, the Hanoi University of Industry had 36,400 registered examinees and the University of Commerce had 32,192 registered examinees while the Academy of Banking had 24,779.

In the south, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry had 30,646 registered examinees while the Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics had around 30,000 registered examinees.

Under guidelines by the Ministry of Education and Training, universities and colleges have created favourable conditions for examinees to complete procedures, so as to help them start their entrance exams on July 4.

In order to have a safe and sound exam, the steering board of the university and college entrance exams sent messages to universities and colleges, asking for a review of their preparations for the exams.

Today July 4, examinees have started their mathematics and physics exams. They will have an exam on chemistry.
