Culling the infected poultry.

Nhan Dan - The People’s Committee of southern province of Ben Tre on October 8 declared that Ba Tri district had been free from bird flu disease.

Accordingly, poultry raising, transportation and consumption were allowed to return to normal in Ba Tri district. However, the unit in charge should carry on its inspection concerning quarantine poultry slaughtering in the district.

The People’s Committee of Ben Tre also requested the province’s Veterinary Service in co-ordination with local authorities in Ba Tri district to take measures to prevent the disease from relapsing.
