480,000 glasses of milk for poor elderly patients

Nhan Dan - Poor elderly patients nationwide will receive 480,000 glasses of milk worth VND 2.4 billion on the occasion of International Day for the Elderly (October 1).

Ho Chi Minh City Sponsorial Association for Poor Patients granted one thousand milk portions to the poor elderly patients at the Army Hospital 175 in Go Vap district on October 8.

This activity lies in the programme named '480,000 glasses of milk for poor elderly patients' sponsored by Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company - Vinamilk in co-ordination with Ho Chi Minh City Sponsorial Association for Poor Patients. Accordingly, 380 thousand glasses of milk will be granted in Ho Chi minh City, 20 thousand in Hanoi and 80 thousand in Binh Dinh province.

Poor elderly patients in Ho Chi minh City can receive milk at general hospitals or centres such as  the old people's homes of Thi Nghe and Nghe Sy, Social welfare centres of Thanh Loc and Chanh Phu Hoa or Ho Chi Minh City Women's Charity Association.
