Vietnam provides hi-tech assistance to Lao health service

Vietnam has helped the Maternity and Children's Hospital of Laos to install and put into use a sonography 4D machine worth US $80,000, the first of its kind in Laos.

Addressing a ceremony to receive the hi-tech equipment, Lao Health Minister Ponmek Daraloy said the two countries' health care sectors have cooperated fruitfully so far, and the transfer of the machine paved the way for hi-tech cooperation between them. The cooperation would benefit both Vietnam and Laos and enhance the traditional relationship between the two countries, he said. (VNA)
