Nhan Dan – Bird flu disease has been found in an animal breeding household in hamlet 9, Nghi Phuong commune, Nghi Loc district, Nghe An province, announced the Veterinary Department on July 21.

The disease killed 30 out of 180 chickens which were yet to be vaccinated against bird flu, and 160 out of 570 ducks raised by the household.

So, the local veterinary service culled all of these chickens and ducks.

So far, in the whole country, there are only three provinces not being free yet from the disease for 21 days, namely Tra Vinh, Dong Thap and Nghe An.
