The Youth Union Central Committee’s
Secretariat held in Hanoi on February 22 a conference to
gather opinions for the Party’s draft political report which
will be presented at the upcoming tenth national Party
congress. In a serious spirit and high sense of
responsibility, Youth Union officials and scientists have
contributed their ideas to the report.
As a historical expert of the Youth
Union, Van Tung spoke highly the content of the draft report.
He said that the draft report had been well formulated.
Through the document, the greatness of the Party has been
manifested in various aspects, in which a very important point
is that the Party always knows to adjust its line, looks into
the truth, promotes its correctness and overcomes its
weaknesses. However, the draft report is not well arranged
between the economic construction and human development. In
particular, there are no key solutions to deal with recession
in politics, ideology, morality and lifestyle found in part of
officials and Party members who committed bureaucracy,
corruption and waste. If the situation lasts long, people will
loose their belief in the Party and State.
Doctor Duong Tu Dam from Thanh Nien
magazine contributed his ideas for the big lessons gained
after 20 years of renovation. Nguyen Viet Phat, a leader of
the Central Young Volunteer Force, said that the achievements
in the 20 years of renovation should be compared to those of
regional countries. Pham Xuan Thang, secretary of Hai Duong
province’s Youth Union, requested that human should be
identified as the prime important resource. Secretary of Bac
Ninh Youth Union Nguyen Huong Giang said that the personal
work should be renovated from awareness to training. Nguyen
Thi Hoang Van, director of the international department of the
Youth Union, said that the Party’s capability and fighting
spirit should be enhanced.
Delegates also expressed their ideas on
the enhancement of Party’s leadership for youth work. |
