Nhan Dan – A patient with alleged bird flu symptoms has been tested negative for virus H5N1, according to the Ho Chi Minh City Tropical Diseases Hospital.

The patient residing in Hoa Tan commune, Chau Thanh district, Dong Thap province, was hospitalised on March 19.

The patient suffering lung injury is being quarantined to get treatment.
