Campaign for dioxin victims launched in France

The Overseas Vietnamese Association in France in co-operation with Collectif Vietnam – Dioxin (CVD) has launched a campaign to support Agent Orange victims in Vietnam.

The campaign included the organisation of a united meal, a film presentation of activities for dioxin victims in Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa provinces since 2002 and the introduction of upcoming programmes by CVD’s representatives.

The Association has raised an amount of money donated and gained by selling some special items, to help Agent Orange victims in Vietnam.

The campaign presented representatives from the Vietnamese Embassy in France, UNESCO, France-Vietnam Friendship Association and numerous overseas Vietnamese and French people.

So far, the Association has organised several activities to help dioxin victim’s families and rehabilitate hundreds of dioxin children nationwide.

In the coming period, the Association will have more activities to support Vietnamese Agent Orange victims by focusing on caring for and rehabilitating dioxin-affected children to help them lead a normal life.
