Nhan Dan - Armed forces in Quang Tri province have helped farmers in the remote district of Quang Lang to save rice due to be harvested from floods caused by heavy rains in mid-May.

Accordingly, 600 officers and men from armed force units, including the provincial Military Command, Borderguard and Police, have been mobilised to help farmers in four communes in Quang Lang district, including Hai Thanh, Hai Tho, Hai Duong and Hai Hoa.

The officers and men have been ordered to prioritise families of social policy beneficiaries and families in difficulties.
