Nhan Dan - VND 53 billion will be invested in a project on solar energy production for 10 difficult communes in Quang Binh province.

The Quang Binh People's Committee has issued a decision on its approval of the project.

Under the project, villages of 10 communes, where the national electricity grid cannot reach, will have solar energy generation units.

These communes include Thuong Trach, Tan Trach and Son Trach communes in Bo Trach district, Dan Hoa and Trong Hoa communes in Minh Hoa district, Thanh Hoa and Kim Hoa communes in Tuyen Hoa district, Lam Thuy communes in Le Thuy district, Truong Son and Thuong Xuan communes in Quang Ninh district.

The project will start in 2008 and will be completed in 2010.
