The Radio Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and the Lao National Radio signed a co-operation agreement for the 2008-2011 period in Hanoi on December 29.

The deal is to increase the broadcast of radio news and reports, and programmes on cultural, socio-economic and political achievements each country has made based on the need of each side.

Under the agreement, the two radios will also exchange programes to be broadcasted on each other’s waves during the period.

The two sides will also exchange delegations and staff and co-organise workshops and training courses for reporters, editors and technicians. (VNA)
