Vietnam ready to share legislative experiences with Laos

The Vietnamese National Assembly is ready to share legislative experiences with the Lao parliament, affirmed NA Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong.

NA Chairman Trong made the affirmation while receiving a delegation of the Lao National Assembly’s Law Committee, headed by its Director Keyun Yotsayviboun in Hanoi on April 2.

The NA chairman expressed his belief that the week-long visit to Vietnam by the Lao NA delegation, which began on March 29, would contribute to boosting solidarity, friendship and co-operation between the two Parties, States and peoples.

He expressed his wish that the Law Committees and other bodies of the two parliaments would boost exchange of experiences to help each other improve their operations.

Keyun Yotsayviboun briefed the host on the results of their working sessions with Vietnamese NA Law and Economics Committees and the Board in charge of NA Deputies, as well as their visits to Thai Nguyen province and Hai Phong city to study the organisation and role of local People’s Councils and their relations with NA deputies’ delegations.
