Vietnamese representative
Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet was elected President of the Vietnam
Esperanto Youth Organisation for the 2007-2009 term at the
closing session of the 63rd World Esperanto Youth
Association ( WEA) Congress in Hanoi, on August 2.
The congress, which began on
July 28, drew 200 representatives from 35 countries around
the world.
During the event, 24 sessions
on the world Esperanto movement, cultural and art exchanges
of participating countries and the introduction of the
people and their lands.
Participants agreed that they would contribute to boost
co-operation with the WEA Vietnam to allow younger
generations to bond more closely and increase mutual
