Party and Government inspection organs receive Laos’ Itsala Order

The Inspection Commission of the Communist Party of Vietnam has been awarded the Freedom Order (Itsala) of Laos , first class, at a ceremony in Hanoi on December 14.

Lao Deputy Prime Minister Asang Laoly, who is a Politburo member and Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee, also presented the Itsala Order, second class, to the Vietnamese Government Inspectorate.

The presentation was made on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the signing of the friendship agreement between the two countries and the 45th anniversary of their diplomatic ties.

The Lao Deputy PM, who doubles as Chairman of the LPRP Central Committee Inspection Commission and General Inspector of Laos, praised the CPV Central Committee Inspection Commission and the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam’s contributions to bolstering the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive co-operation between Laos and Vietnam.

He also expressed his thanks to the Party, Government and people of Vietnam for the assistance they have given to Laos during its renovation process and current national construction and development. (VNA)
