Vietnam wishes to boost international co-operation in odonto-stomatology to catch up with advanced technology in the field, especially in community dental care.

President Nguyen Minh Triet expressed his aspiration while receiving in Hanoi on November 25 local and foreign delegates to the international odonto-stomatology conference and the 7th international dental exhibition.

President Triet asked foreign doctors and experts to share their experience in prevention and treatment of dental and oral diseases with Vietnam and give opinions on Vietnam’s policies in the area.

He also directed Vietnamese doctors and experts to try their best to learn advanced technology in the field to better serve the people.

He took this occasion to thank foreign and overseas Vietnamese experts for their support and assistance to Vietnam in the care and treatment of odonto-stomatology diseases. (VNA)
