Nhan Dan - Indian President Pratibha Devisigh Patil arrived in Hanoi on November 26 for a five-day official visit to Vietnam, from November 24 to 28, at the invitation of State President Nguyen Minh Triet.

The Indian President is accompanied by Minister of State, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Ashwani Kumar; Deputy Minister of External Affairs, N. Ravi; Indian ambassador to Vietnam, Lal Thla Muana, and other governmental officials.

Earlier, the Indian President spent two days, November 24 and 25 in Ho Chi Minh City, meeting the city leaders and attending a Vietnam-Indian business forum there.
