Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung confirmed Vietnam ’s archives co-operation with Laos during his meeting with the visiting Lao Prime Minister Office Minister Duongsavat Suvanuvong in Hanoi on November 28.

“The Vietnamese Government is willing to share experiences and co-operate with Laos in all fields, first of all to help Laos build an archives and personal training centre,” Deputy PM Hung said.

He said there was strong satisfaction about the close and effective relations between the two countries, at all levels.

Lao Minister Duongsavat Suvanuvong thanked Vietnam for its recent assistance to the country.

“The special friendship and traditional co-operation between Vietnam and Laos will further consolidate and develop in all fields, including the archive work,” he said.

The Lao minister also said he hoped the construction of the Vietnam-funded archive project would start soon and bring effective results. (VNA)
