Buoyed by the success of Vision
Vietnam in the Long An Province, AFC is laying the
groundwork to introduce its pioneering development project
in the capital city of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh, which is an
important football hub in the South of the country.
An AFC Vision Asia team will
visit these two cities from July 8 to 13 to assess the
status of football for before drafting a plan for overall
development of the game.

put under scrutiny several key areas - football
administration and management, clubs and competitions,
grassroots and youth, coach education and referees

Since its launch in Long An in
2005, Vision Vietnam has been gathering in strength, with
the provincial league completing its second season this year
besides the schools’ league kickoff earlier this year.
During their visit, the AFC team
will meet and discuss development issues with top officials
