Vietnam crush Kyrgyzstan 10-1

Nhan Dan Online/VFF - The Vietnam National Women's Team sank Kyrgyzstan 10-1 in a group C's qualifying match for the 2010 AFC Cup.

The victory at the Thanh Long Sport Centre in Ho Chi Minh City on July 4 marked a great contribution of top scorer Ngoc Cham with six goals.

Kim Chi opened the scoring for Vietnam in the 10th minute. Ngoc Cham and Nguyen Thi Nga widened the gap to 4-0 for the hosts in the 22nd, 25th and 29th minute respectively.

A goal 'rain' really went down at the Thanh Long Sport Centre after the break. Ngoc Cham scored four goals in the 58th, 62nd, 71st and 88th minute. Two other goals were scored by

Minh Nguyet in the 59th minute and Le Thi Thuong in the 83rd minute. Pokachalova Svetlana scored a consolation goal for the guests 12 minutes before the final whistle.

This big win created a favourable condition for Vietnam on the way to conquer the Group C's top spot.

Another victory over Hong Kong this Wednesday will help Vietnam qualify for the final round.
