Nhan Dan – Eighteen players of the Vietnam National Futsal Team  have been called up to prepare for the 2010 Southeast Asian Futsal Championship, due to be held in Ho Chi Minh City from April 5-11, according to the Vietnam Football Federation.

At the Championship, Vietnam will play with Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar and the Philippines.

The team will compete on a round robin basis to select two top teams qualifying for the final. 

Italian coach Sergio Gargelli continued to pin his faith on the players who have recently helped the national squad for the first time earn a berth to play at the finals of the Asian Futsal Championship, due to be held in Uzbekistan from May 23-30.

Besides, the national team will also welcome some new faces who once joined the third Asian Indoor Games such as Ha Bao Minh, Nguyen Trong Thien and Le the Cuong.
