Nhan Dan Online- Kim Hong’s brace and Kim Chi’s goal helped Vietnam demolish Laos 3-0 today in Vientiane to reach the final.

After the start, Vietnam dominated the match, creating a lot of chances to score. In the 8th minute, Kim Chi’s shot was saved by Laos goalkeeper Hongthong. In the 15th minute, Vietnam had a penalty when Nguyen Thi Muon was fouled by Laos defender. Kim Hong took a chance to open the scoring from the penalty spot.

In the 33rd minute, Nguyen Thi Muon had one on one’s with keeper Hongthong, but she failed to convert the chance into goal. Five minutes later Vietnam goalkeeper Kieu Trinh saved Laos foward’s fire from a close range.

After the break, Vietnam continued to attack. In the 62nd minute Minh Nguyet’s  shot was saved by Hongthong. Two minutes later Nguyen Thi Muon’s header hit the crossbar. It was Kim Hong who doubled the score  in the 72nd minute with her skillful strike before Kim Chi nailed the third for Vietnam.

Beating Laos 3-0, Vietnam earned eight points from four matches and will compete with Thailand (eight points from four games) in the final on December 16.

The same day, Myanmar trounced Malaysia 7-1.
