Nhan Dan Online – The direct flight connecting Pleiku (Gia Lai) with Hanoi and vice-versa will be launched on October 27.

The air route will provide 4 flights per week by Fokker 70 aircraft. Currently, Pleiku airport is providing 7 flights per week departing for Hanoi (transit in Da Nang) and 11 flights departing for Ho Chi Minh City.

The direct flight linking Pleiku and Hanoi will help reduce transit time, lower ticket fare and shorten travel time. Specially, the air route will be timely in service of tourists coming to the International Gong Festival 2009 in Gia Lai on coming October.
