Nhan Dan – The 5th national kite contest named Victoria was held in Hoi An town, Quang Nam province on May 23.

This is one of the activities in response to the Quang Nam Heritage Road festival which will be held on June 4 to 7.

The kite contest attracted the participation of 118 artisans at home and abroad who are now staying in Hoi An. The participants who came from 12 kite clubs nationwide and in other countries, brought to the contest over 140 kites various in sizes and kinds.

According to organisers, the contest not only brought relaxing moments for people but also helped preserving the culture of Vietnamese people.
